Who's coming to visit us...

It's official! A new species of marsupial has been discovered in Australia - and the Kumbia Country Festival will be this peachy little critter's world-first appearance!
Cute fun-loving Aussie fruit & vegetable character Missy Peacharoo™ is making her debut in Kumbia on 5th September, and it promises to be a new and exciting experience!
She knows how to entertain and she also loves educating people, young and old, about all the benefits of delicious fresh fruit & vegetables. This sweet little hopper is passionate about helping everyone to appreciate our hard-working Aussie growers and the tasty results of their labours.
Missy Peacharoo™ will arrive at the Kumbia Country Festival with her best friend Mira from Divine Fruits. Come and say hello to them both during the morning of the event!
If you're not already following Missy Peacharoo™'s adventures, head over to her Facebook and Instagram pages.

Alvin the Avocado
For Alvin the Avocado, it's always easy being green!
The delicious poster child of the Blackbutt Avocado Festival is dying to visit the Kumbia Country Festival! Alvin is a big supporter of all things South Burnett, so are we very excited to have him!
While he’s here to promote the Blackbutt Avocado Festival (on the following weekend), Alvin is looking forward to checking out everything Kumbia has to offer. We reckon he'll be green with envy at our car and machinery show, get his slice of fun at the kids’ activities and mash it up at our market stalls!
You’ll be sure to 'avo' a good time with Alvin – and if we’re lucky, he might even show off his avo-thletic skills in the Hay Bale Relay!
So make sure you come and say hello to Alvin the Avocado in the afternoon and watch him guac' n' roll to live music!
